E-MEM® LE series

Product introduction

LE (Low Energy) series is an ultra-low-pressure aromatic polyamide composite film element developed by Hangzhou E-EMM Environmental Technology Co., Ltd for desalination of tap water and groundwater. It can achieve the same high-water flux and desalination rate as the conventional low-pressure membrane under the condition of ultra-low operating pressure. Its operating pressure is about 2/3 of the operating pressure of conventional low-pressure composite membrane, so as to reduce the investment cost of related pumps, pipelines, containers and other equipment and the operating cost of reverse osmosis system, and improve the economic benefits. LE series membrane elements are suitable for desalination of groundwater, tap water and municipal water with a salt content of less than 2000ppm, and are mainly used in various fields such as purified water, boiler make-up water, food processing and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

matters needing attention

①. The data and information provided by HangzhouE-MEM Environmental Technology Co., Ltd in this sample are all obtained throughlong-term experiments, and we are convinced that these data and information areaccurate and effective. Customers are requested to use the product in strictaccordance with the design, use and maintenance requirements of the product andkeep relevant data records. Hangzhou E-MEM Environmental Technology Co., Ltdshall not bear any consequences arising from customers' failure to use andmaintain the products in accordance with the conditions provided by thissample.

②. The permeate flow listed in the table is theaverage value, and the deviation of single membrane element of permeate flow is±20%.

③. Before products leaving the factory, the drymembrane element has no protective liquid, while the wet membrane element isstored and treated with 1.0% sodium bisulfite (10% glycerin antifreeze added inwinter) solution and vacuum-packed.

④. Dry membrane elements should always be kept wetafter wetting. When wet membrane element is not used for a long time, in orderto prevent the growth of microorganisms, it is recommended to soak the membraneelement with protective liquid containing 1.0% sodium bisulfite (food grade)(prepared with RO production water).

⑤. For initial use of membrane elements, it isrecommended to flush first at low pressure for 15-25 minutes and then at highpressure for 60-90 minutes (water production not less than 50% of the systemdesign). All production and concentrated water shall be discharged within thefirst hour of membrane element operation.

⑥. It is prohibited to add any chemical agentthat has an impact on the membrane element in storage and operation. If suchchemical agent is violated, Hangzhou E-MEM Environmental Technology Co., Ltdwill not bear all the consequences arising therefrom.
