What is MBR Bio-reactor MembraneBioreactor is a new wastewater treatment process that combines membraneseparation technology and biological treatment technology. It is composed ofbiochemical reaction system and membrane components. It uses membrane modulesto trap activated sludge and macromolecular organic substances in the aerobicbiological reaction tank, so as to increase the concentration of activatedsludge. Hydraulic retention time (HRT) and sludge retention time (SRT) can becontrolled respectively, while the refractory substances are continuouslybiodegraded in the reactor. MBRmembrane bioreactor, which integrates the advantages of membrane separationtechnology and biological treatment technology, can effectively trap nitrifyingbacteria and improve the concentration of activated sludge through theefficient interception of the membrane, so as to improve the biochemicalefficiency, smooth nitrification reaction and effective removal of ammonianitrogen. Afterthe application of MBR technology, COD removal rate can be increased by 20%-40%on the original basis, suspended matter and turbidity of water production areclose to 0, and the effluent water quality is good and stable.
